About KetzevKetzev Dance Program offers opportunities for students pre-K through 12th grade, young adults, young professionals, women, and seniors. Ketzev provides structured educational and social programs to develop friendships and have fun while exploring Jewish and Israeli culture, heritage, and traditions through Israeli Dance. Ketzev invites dancers of all ability levels to join and does not require prior dance experience to participate. Israeli dance is about community; Ketzev welcomes everyone, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, and nationality. In addition, performing groups rehearse Sunday afternoons in Cleveland, OH. Dancers learn harkada (recreational Israeli dances that are danced throughout the world) as well as original performance pieces (performing 4-8 times a year) that reflect the many different cultural influences in Israel. |
